1981 – The Ghost Killer

“The Ghost Killer” was the signature Edwards used for the Altanta Child Killings, which were blamed on Wayne Williams.

See Atlanta-Child-Killer-Edwards-Letters.

One of the letters is in the form of a poem, with these lines

“One night two kids got killed in a fire. I struck the match so the death toll is higher.”

apparently a reference to the August 1979 arson/murder for which Louis DiNicola was wrongly convicted.
